Preventive Oncology International (POI)
Preventive Oncology International is dedicated to blending humanitarian care with scientific discovery. Our mission: to conduct research and provide education while working toward the prevention and early detection of cancer. We work in under-served areas of the world where cancer is particularly prevalent, providing screening and treatment to people who otherwise may never have access to this care. Currently POI is also working with the PAVE consortium to complete their innovative work to screen, triage and treat women at risk for cervical cancer in low- and middle- income countries (LMIC).
